Your Tyranny
The kingdom of Bellares, known as the land of eternal spring. A long war began when the arrogant king of Bellares mocked and massacred a goodwill envoy sent by the Inacos Alliance, calling them barbarians.
To continue the war, the king of Bellares sold off his daughters as brides to the chieftain of the barbarian Razan tribe. All the princesses sent to the Razan lands met tragic deaths. And finally, it was the turn of Bellares’ ninth princess, Daphne.
Just when she thought she couldn’t escape the fate of marrying a man who beat his wife to death…
“Who am I?”
Daphne, secretly venturing outside the castle walls, had a chance encounter with the enemy general, Johannes Tennan.
“…Jo, Johannes Tennan.”
“Damn it. You know me well….”
The young king, called the “Bloodstained Murderer,” was actually kind. Quickly falling for him, Daphne began sneaking out of the castle every night to see him, knowing he would soon leave the battlefield. Just that much. She didn’t intend to be greedy for more. But even that seemed to have been too much.
“Ah….”
The whole world was ablaze. Daphne sobbed uncontrollably at the sight outside the castle. His hand wiped away her tears. Then he grasped her cheeks roughly.
“Don’t cry. This is all your fault.”
“Jo, Johan. I….”
“Princess of Bellares. From now on… you will be far more unhappy than you can imagine.”
Daphne couldn’t understand what had gone wrong, or where it all began.
