Chapter 81
Chapter 81. Heart-Pounding Summer Vacation!
The face that teased her and the dark blue eyes that looked down on her. Henelone’s eyes burned blue as she recalled the beautiful face that had teased her as if there was something great about her
“That… what should I do?”
“Huh? What is it?”
“To seduce him that he can’t come to his senses.”
Milena, who was looking at Henelone’s face that was frozen hard, let out a silent scream and her eyes sparkled.
***
Kaboom.
A roar like a giant beast rang out outside the window.
Henelone, who had been slowly climbing the stairs, stopped and stared blankly at the raindrops hitting the glass window. The only thing reflected in the dark window was a woman with long, w*t hair.
The weather that had been sunny all along became cloudy as if it were a lie as the sun set and a heavy storm was already raging.
The stormy wind of Brenicke, which was blowing by the sea, was completely different from the capital, and it was surprisingly cool even in midsummer. Before the rain poured down, the maid who had come through the strong wind had lit the fireplaces in the annex.
The wind was so strong that it rattled the windows. When it blew through the cracks in the windows, it chilled her body that had just finished bathing.
In the chilly air, Henelone, who had pulled up the shawl over her thin chemise to the nape of her neck, stood and looked up at the stairs leading to the third floor.
‘You’re really staying in the annex…’
Beyond the end of the stairs on the third floor, a single ray of light seemed to be shining on the floor as if a door was open.
It was probably the light from the fireplace warming the bedroom. Thinking of the man inside, Henelone tightened her grip on the shawl and stepped up the stairs.
The well-maintained annex didn’t make even the slightest noise, not even in the wooden stairs or hallways.
However, the heartbeat in her ears was so loud that Henelone, who held her breath, cautiously walked toward the door that was rippling with crimson light.
The sound of the wind, like the faint sound of an empty flute from afar, and the dull sound of water drops hitting the glass. Between them, the sound of cloth brushing against skin, perhaps as if changing clothes, leaked out through the open door.
Henelone, who slowly swept her dry mouth with her tongue from the tension, raised her hand and knocked on the door, tilting her head slightly through the open gap.
“…Henelone?”
“Oh, I… can’t sleep… You can’t sleep either?”
“I have something to do… I just got back and washed up.”
Heinz frowned for a moment as he recalled the Emperor’s neat face, who had been leaning against the couch and stretching out. The face asking what he had done wrong. He then strode toward the door.
“Come in.”
Henelone hesitated as she approached the wide-open door and blankly looked up at Heinz.
Droplets of water fell from her damp hair, dripping down her neck, flowing down her open shirt, and disappearing between her firm chest.
Between the damp scent and the heat of the freshly washed fireplace, he was strangely w*t.
Henelone swallowed dry saliva as she felt the stimulation of her five senses.
‘Milena… You said a w*t woman is a sure winner!’
Henelone, who had lowered her eyes to the provocative sight, shut her mouth tightly and called out to Milena. It seemed that a w*t man was more likely to win than a w*t woman.
She came to seduce him, but she felt like she would lose her senses. She chewed the flesh in her mouth tightly and blurted out whatever came to mind.
“…You turned on the fireplace here too.”
“Hmm. The storm in Brenicke is fierce and cold even in summer….Come and sit down.”
“I see…”
As a hand filled with heat wrapped around her back, Henelone, who was drawn to him as if possessed, sat down next to Heinz on the long couch.
Heinz, who was about to sit Hennelone in a plush one-seater armchair in front of the fireplace, stiffened and looked up into her blue eyes.
The blue eyes, whose dense eyelashes cast shadows in the swaying, burning light, stared at him with even greater depth.
Heinz took a deep breath, tracing her delicately upturned nose, her flushed cheeks, and the moist, shiny lips beneath them.
The strange atmosphere in the room was confusing his mind. His body tense up with tension, and his thick chest swelled up stiffly.
Henelone, who noticed the man’s expression, bowed her head to the side, revealing her white nape, and opened her mouth shyly.
“Hey, Heinz. Would you like a drink…?”
“…Okay.”
Heinz hesitated for a moment as he stood up stiffly in front of the display case. Having lived on a ship for almost half his life, most of what was inside was cheap, strong rum. Fortunately, he could see a whiskey stuck in a corner among the rum.
“It might be a little strong. Should I ask others to bring you something to drink?”
“Oh, no. It’s okay. I’m just going to moisten my throat a little.”
Henelone quickly accepted the glass that was offered to her and shook her head as she answered.
She was worried that she might smell like food when they kiss. It was a bit funny to bring up this now, so she burst out laughing. Henelone covered her mouth with the glass half-filled with amber l*quid in case she was caught laughing, and took a sip of the lukewarm whiskey.
“Huue…..”
