Chapter 70. Heart-Pounding Summer Vacation!

The Duke, who had never paid attention to her, gave her the room next to him. Yet the emperor came out of the room and immediately asked her to go horseback riding with him.
As she couldn’t keep up with the situation and just gaped, Dietrich suddenly put his face in front of her.
“Princess.”
Isn’t it… too close…? Marie-Jose’s blue eyes shook slightly.
His eyes are as perfect as ripe almonds, and his golden eyelashes are even and long, as if they were embroidered by a craftsman. Eyes shining brightly as if the blue sky had been cut into pieces.

Just before the tips of their tall noses touch each other. The emperor, who stopped moving, smiled brightly.
Marie-Jose’s body stiffened as she stopped breathing at the sight of his seductive eyes bending, drawing the shape of a crescent moon. Dietrich’s eyes lit up with satisfaction at the dazed woman’s face. He immediately stretched out his hand and opened the door to her inner room.
“Oh, you need to change, right?”

Marie-Jose nodded her head as if entranced, then slowly stepped back into the open door.

Henelone, following the guidance of the head maid, went the cute path behind the main building and let out an exclamation in a daze.
The path filled with jasmine flowers looked like the path leading to a fairy’s house in a fairy tale. Moreover, the scent was so fragrant and strong that it felt like she had been immersed in an ocean full of flowers.
“It’s called orange jasmine. In fact, it’s just a name and it’s a different flower from jasmine. Hehe.”
The maid Jean looked at Henelone, enchanted by the scent of the flowers, and touched the white petals with a proud smile.
The most important thing about the Woodward Mansion was the main building, which boasted a grand exterior. But the most popular place for the employees working at the mansion was the annex that appeared after passing this path.

“On other continents, the scent of flowers can reach up to 7 miles. Of course, this orange jasmine is lovely, but the jasmine that blooms in spring is the pride of our house.”
“I see… I really want to come back in the spring.”

The maid, Jean, smiled brightly and hurried her steps. She couldn’t wait to show the annex to this young lady, whom her master had entrusted her to take special care of. Henelone, who made eye contact with Milena for a moment without knowing what was happening to her. She hurriedly walked along with the maid, Jean.
At the end of the trail, she was amazed by the beautiful white iron arch covered with orange jasmine. Henelone and Milena, holding hands, screamed silently at the fantastic scenery beyond.
At the highest point of the mountain, the blue sea sparkled like a jewel spread out over the steep cliffs. The horizon against the sky was so clear.
But what was more beautiful than that was the annex building.
Thanks to the warm southern climate all year round, the first floor of the annex was open on all sides. They were supported by pillars with floating canopies, and all kinds of strange things were elegantly decorated inside.
A small mini bar where one can make simple cocktails and a round bed hanging from a string hanging from the ceiling. A fireplace to warm her body and a long couch in front of it. And an infinity pool that extends to the end of the cliff in front of the annex.
There was truly a paradise on earth.

“Oh my god, is this heaven?”
After finishing looking around her room, Milena entered Henelone’s room and asked.
Unlike the first floor, which was open on all sides, the second floor had a long hallway and doors leading to each room. The room was beautifully decorated with exotic decorations not found in the capital, including a bed, dressing table, closet, and private bathroom. It was small but comfortable for living. It was well equipped with everything she needed.
“…So, is it really paradise…?”
Henelone, who was fiddling with the statue of a young angel decorated on the bedpost, answered blankly with a bewildered expression on her face. Milena looked around the room, which had a different atmosphere from her own, and soon came close to Henelone’s side with her eyes shining and asked.
“There’s a walkway behind the annex that leads to a private beach. Would you like to go, Lady?”
“Of course. I’m looking forward to seeing how beautiful it will be there.”
The public beach she saw on the way was very beautiful, but she was curious about what the beach at the mansion would be like.
“By the way, Lady. Did you bring any clothes to wear at the beach?”
“Oh, yes. I brought a bathing gown.”
“Hmm, I’ll take a look.”
At Milena’s urging, Henelone opened a bag on one side of the room and took out a yellow bathing gown that she had neatly folded.
As for her swimsuit, it was just a long one-piece dress. There was lead attached to the end of the cloth to prevent it from floating when entering the water, so it was a bit heavy. But it wasn’t so much that she couldn’t wear it, so she brought it with her just in case.
Henelone smiled brightly at the thought of dipping her feet in the cool sea water and unfolded her bathing gown.
However, Milena’s expression as she looked at this was not so good.
