Chapter 57
Chapter 57. Heart-Pounding Summer Vacation!
Henelone listened to Heinz’s words and shut her mouth, looking at Adrian. This is because she remembered that she had been talking gibberish in response to his question.
‘If it’s Brenicke… it’s the Duchy of Woodward, right?’
‘Well… Brenicke Port is said to be the best heavenly resort in the South! Ah! I was supposed to go with my step-sister. That’s right… I decided to go on a cruise. Ahaha. It’s been a long time since I went on a boat. Adrian, have you ever been on a boat?’
‘Yes.’
‘Oh right, you were from Harfield Kingdom…’
Adrian was holding Henelone’s arm with a deep smile. Out of nowhere, she was grabbed by both arms by two men in the middle of the street. People passing by were looking this way with very interesting eyes and whispering. Henelone’s face turned bright red.
“…I’m so excited… (Please let go of both of my hands.)”
As she lowered her bright red face and spoke through gritted teeth, Adrien burst into laughter. But rather than letting go of his hold on her hand, he gave it a little more strength and pulled her towards him.
“Ak…!”
“I’ll call it a day. Unfortunately, I have a schedule.”
Adrian let go of her hand and bent down to get closer to Henelone’s face. The brightly shining face was too close, so Henelone quietly lowered her eyes.
She decided to go on a date, but she ended up being escorted by another man. Even though she was just heading back after finishing the date, it was extremely rude.
Somehow, she felt like she was a bad person who always did rude things to Adrian. Her conscience pricked her and she was about to offer her apology when he opened his mouth before her.
Even thinking about it again, it was a shameful memory. She asked him if he had ever been on a boat. She doesn’t know why she was so nervous and embarrassed in the first place. Adrian simply asked if Brenicke was the Duchy of Woodward.
It was still the same now. Why does she notice Heinz? He and I have no relationship…
Henelone, who had finished thinking that far, bit her lip.
‘I have to act like an idiot at least.’
The answer was simple. She is concerned about Heinz as the opposite s*x. Adrian too. She said that he could be a good friend, that she only talked about her trivial thoughts and that she tried not to think deeply. However, she could not ignore the fact that she was attracted to two men at the same time.
Adrian was actively courting her. If he were a little more proactive, she might be able to marry him without much trouble. But Heinz…
Henelone’s shaking eyes fell on Heinz’s hand, which held her arm tightly. But she soon couldn’t help but turn her gaze to the force of his hand pulling her hand behind her.
“…Adrian?”
“But, Henelone.”
“…yes?”
“You must not forget this poor man who will be left alone in the capital without knowing anyone. Understand?”
Henelone nodded her head in a dazed manner, with a cheeky smile that made his mouth open in surprise. His honey-colored eyes that curved into round lines looked very sweet.
‘What kind of man smiles so prettily?’
It was clear that she was weak to his face. And Adrian seemed to know that very well too. As she couldn’t take her eyes off his brightly shining smile, Heinz shot a sharp glare at Adrian.
“Why don’t you stay alone like that for the rest of your life?” (Heniz)
“I don’t plan on doing that.” (Adrian)
Adrian, not paying attention to Heinz’s cold gaze, smiled and completely let go of Henelone’s hand. It seemed like she was running away with her tail curled up, but there wasn’t much time left until his meeting with Count Greta.
Heinz sneered at Adrian, who took a step back, and led Henelone by the hand, leading her to walk with great strides.
“No, wait…! Hey, Adrian… I’m sorry!” (Henelone)
“You have a lot to be sorry about.” (Heniz)
“What is this for? Oh, wait a minute! I feel like I’m going to fall!”
“You won’t fall.”
When Henelone stumbled over her own feet, Heinz wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up. Henelone, who was angry at the funny sight of herself floating in the air, struggled and hit him with a fist like a cotton doll.
“I want to walk on my own feet!”
“Hmm.”
“Uhuk, really!”
Adrian gently waved his hand and said goodbye without anyone seeing.
Unlike the shallow lines of the mouth, the eyes were cold.

“Yeesss?! Pregnant……! Wuuhm! Hmp!”
“Shh! Shuushh! Be quiet!”
Inside the clattering, moving carriage, Henelone, whose mouth was blocked by the hand of Milena. She raised her eyes fiercely and stared at the ceiling of her carriage with her bewildered eyes.
How many hours had passed since they woke up early in the morning and boarded the carriage heading to Berner Port? Henelone felt dizzy as Milena whispered in her ear that it was her secret.
‘Pregnant…’
Milena is pregnant.
Looking at that fact alone, it was something to celebrate. However, Milena hid the fact from her entire family and was heading to Brenicke! She was an unusual woman in many ways, as she had guessed from the time she coaxed her brother, who was just as honest as a bear, with her petulance.
‘But no matter what!’
She roughly shook off her hand that was covering her mouth and even her nose… As she tried to reach out, Henelone, who carefully held her down, clenched her teeth and screamed at the top of her voice.
“Milena! Go back to the capital immediately…!”
“No, I do not want to!”
