Chapter 30
Chapter 30. While the count was away from the mansion
He wanted to run right away and tear apart the two who were leaning close to each other, but the situation did not help him. Heinz, his eyes burning with anger, increased his speed and jumped into the alley.

“Oh, Countess Greta is your aunt?”
Henelone asked back, surprised at the familiar name coming out of Adrian’s mouth. Countess Greta. She was a woman known in social circles for being strict. Most of the female members of her family, the most powerful in the capital, learned the ins and outs of the social circle from her. Henelone had been taught briefly by her when she was young.
Although she didn’t have a very good memory of it.
“Yes. While I am in the Empire, I am temporarily under the care of the count’s residence.”
“So, how long do you plan to stay in the Empire?”
“I’ll probably stay for the summer.”
At Adrian’s words, Henelone nodded her head with a regretful look on her face. He fell in love with her at first sight, and she thought he was a crazy person who said strange things when they first met. But he turned out to be a much nicer guy than she thought. No, he was a very nice guy.
Henelone bowed her head shyly, looking at the man who was giving her a bright smile with his eyes full of goodwill.
She was secretly glad to see his steadfast attitude even though he had heard that she was working as a librarian at a library. No, he actually took it a step further and complimented her by saying that it was great that she was doing her own thing. Henelone’s heart softened at the sincere admiration.
Maybe this man is the best option for me? His words were kind, his attitude was friendly, and he respected her work more than anything else. If she marries him, she will be able to escape the pressure from her mother and Milena, and she will be able to continue her work as a librarian in the Kingdom of Harfield. But suddenly, Henelone’s face darkened as red eyes flashed through her mind.
‘Why does that face suddenly appear?’
That man.
How long will a man who is a duke of high status and fully trusted by the emperor remain as a library security guard? As soon as the momentary playing with fire subsided, he was the man who would leave her side. He has no desire to marry anyone in the first place. Although she met Adrian face-to-face, she seemed like he could be a better friend instead.
Adrian, who had been quietly watching Henelone who suddenly became silent, tapped her gently on the table.
“Shall we move elsewhere?”
“Huh? Where?”
“That’s the wine bar you mentioned. I really want to go there, too.”
Henelone suddenly brightened up at Adrian’s request.
“Could you please guide me?”

Who is that bastard? What was it about that he was whispering sweetly to her? Why was he holding her hand? Grinding and gritting his teeth, Heinz lifted his foot and kicked the man in front of him.
Kick!
“Keum! Kok, cough! Ugh…….”
The skinny man, who had been blown away by Heinz’s kick for a while, fell down in an unidentifiable pile of filth and let out a painful groan.
Step, step.
Heinz, with his deadly red eyes shining brightly, approached the fallen man and swung his sword sheath.
Stab, slash. Stab!
“Ahhk……! Gasp!”
“Oh no, Captain! He’s going to die!”
“…….”
As red blood splashed out chaotically under Heinz’s scabbard, a frightened Roger blocked the fallen man’s path and shouted. He doesn’t know what made him turn his eyes like that, but this man had to be caught alive and have his mastermind revealed. Roger closed his eyes tightly, afraid that the heavy sword sheath might fall on him, and raised his trembling arm to block his face.
Heinz looked silently at Roger’s terrified face and slowly lowered the arm holding the sword. Grant, who was watching behind him, rushed forward and violently hit Roger,l on the head.
“What captain, you bastard? How many times have I said that it’s duke?”
“Oh, it’s so damn hard… What should I do if the title doesn’t stick in my mouth?”
“…Shut up, you two. Lock this rat up.”
“Yes.”
Heinz shook his hand, brushing the blood off the scabbard, and leaned against the wall with a heavy sigh. He ran through the alleys, chased the man, and before he knew it, the sun had set.
‘She must have gone back to the mansion.’
He wondered if he could have come forward in front of those two in the first place. Heinz, who was in awe of his pitiful appearance, began to walk heavily.
“Captain! N-no, Duke! Where are you going?”
“The new town.”
“Huh? Why are you there… No, more than that, if you want to go, wipe the blood off your face!”
Heinz stopped at Roger’s shout and raised his hand to sweep his face. The hands were covered in thick blood stains. At this late hour, there is no way he could meet her.
Heinz, who was looking down at his red-stained hands, pulled Roger’s clothes and rubbed his face.
“Ahh! Why with someone else’s clothes!”
Roger, frightened, took a step back, but his clothes were already covered in blood.
This is a new outfit that he bought with great intention… Roger swallowed sad tears as he looked at the clothes that had become tattered.

“It was so much fun. Thank you, Adrian!”
Henelone, whose cheeks were flushed from the slight intoxication, smiled brightly and thanked Adrian. During their conversation, she mentioned a wine bar in passing, and he remembered it so carefully. A pleasant excitement lingered in her heart.
