Chapter 0 – Prologue
A villainess mad with love.
There was only one assessment of Miel Kazan.
That changed after her father, Emperor Rio Grande, passed away.
Some said she would become a tyrant who would ruin the nation, while others claimed she would be a tyrant who would conquer the world.
‘Well, they’re all calling me a tyrant anyway.’
Even though this was my fifth playthrough, I frowned while disheveling my blonde hair that still didn’t feel like my own.
“Your Majesty, please listen.”
A heavy baritone voice resonated through the space.
I had been avoiding this for so long, but in the end, the incredibly handsome Grand Duke had appeared before me, leading his subordinates.
From the way my heart was pounding, this really was a romance game after all.
Up until now, I thought it was a strategy simulation.
No, correction. If possible, I had wanted to turn it into a strategy simulation.
“From today, Marinwood has broken free from being a vassal state of Castlevenia and has become the main axis of the anti-Castlevenia front. This is also the path to fulfilling the prophecy of Saint Stella.”
Ha, I was so flabbergasted I almost cursed him out.
I would have, if it weren’t for the chiming sound and the appearance of something resembling a choice window.
[1. Sio, you came to see me.]
[2. Sio, I will have you no matter what.]
And then I felt empty.
I had been doing my best as a ruler, even if I was a tyrant, all this time, but these choices made it seem like everything had been just to get my hands on one man.
It’s been seven years since I was reincarnated as the villainess Miel Kazan in the romance simulation called “Cocoa Road,” and this is my fifth playthrough.
“Sio, you came to see me.”
I recited the line while trying to remove as much romantic emotion as possible.
But suddenly, a pink scale appeared and tilted to the left.
On the left side was “Miel Kazan’s Heart,” and on the right side was the heart of this game’s one and only conquest target, “Sio Grande.”
“Hah…”
Why, why?! I chose this for the sake of conquest, so why is it tilting toward my heart?!
“I really hate this game.”
I spat out the words toward the demon watching me from the void.
