Chapter 3
Chapter 3. Game Start?
After a moment, as if he’d made up his mind, the man’s hand gently pulled her waist closer. In an instant, his face was so close their breaths mingled. She squeezed her eyes shut without realizing it.
“Are you scared?”
“It’s just that it’s been so long, I’m nervous.”
“That’s what you say.”
Silas’s whisper tickled her ear. He clearly didn’t believe a word she said. She didn’t understand why he had brought her to the bedroom, but whatever his intention, she had to prove she was his wife. It was the only way to survive.
“Urk!”
As if making up her mind, Rachel suddenly threw her arms around his neck and awkwardly pressed her lips against his. She moved so fast their teeth clacked together, causing a small pang of pain. Silas’s brow furrowed slightly as he asked in a bewildered tone.
“…What are you doing?”
“This is what a wife does to her husband!”
Rachel’s voice was meant to sound provocative, but desperation was more evident than confidence.
Her lips awkwardly fumbled to find his again. Her movements were clumsy and uncertain because she was clumsily using every bit of knowledge she had to survive.
Silas allowed her clumsy kiss for a moment, then slowly pulled his head back, laughing softly.
“Seems like you don’t even know how to kiss.”
His gaze was cold and sharp, as if it could see right through her. Rachel’s heart pounded, feeling like she had been exposed.
“That’s… it’s been so long… I’m a little out of practice.”
“You can’t even lie properly, but you were going to insist you’re my wife?”
“It’s not a lie! I really am…!”
“Or maybe it’s because I didn’t kiss you so you just shoved it in?”
Silas motioned with his eyes toward his m*mber. Rachel’s face flushed crimson at his blatant choice of words.
“Embarrassed? You said we’re a married couple.”
“I’m always embarrassed. Even between a married couple.”
The emphasis he placed on “married couple” made it unclear if he truly believed her or was just toying with her, knowing the truth.
His touch, surprisingly gentle for a serial killer, slowly traced a path over Rachel’s skin. She held her breath for a moment, then exhaled slowly, trying to hide her tension. All the while, Silas’s deep and intense gaze followed her every move.
“You’re trembling.”
Silas murmured softly. As his low voice neared her ear, Rachel’s heart began to beat even faster. She tried her best to act calm, meeting his gaze.
“I’m just so excited thinking about being with you again after so long.”
“Hoho. Really?”
To hide the slight tremor in her hands, Rachel cautiously placed them on Silas’s broad shoulders. His body heat transferred to her fingertips, and a mix of fear and a strange excitement swirled deep in her chest.
Silas gently lifted her chin. Rachel instinctively closed her eyes, and he slowly placed his lips over hers. The kiss started out soft but soon became forceful.
“Open up.”
At his short, firm command, Rachel unconsciously parted her lips. He immediately returned, and this was no simple kiss. Silas invaded deep into her mouth.
He pushed his tongue in, then sucked on it as if swallowing her whole. His cold hand wrapped around the nape of her neck, pulling her body even closer.
“Uhm.”
A short moan escaped her without her intending to. Silas slowly pulled away, laughing softly. Rachel couldn’t bring herself to open her eyes, even as his amused laugh echoed around the room.
She simply responded awkwardly to the movements of his tongue.
His fingers traced her jawline down to the nape of her neck. The cold fingertips moved over her skin, which was now burning hot. His ragged breath brushed against her ear.
Rachel was gradually losing her breath, but she followed his movements. The air grew hotter and hotter, and their breaths mingled in a subtle tension.
His hand grabbed her waist firmly, pulling her even closer. The heat that radiated from his body made her gasp for breath.
“Breathe through your nose.”
His indifferent voice guided her little by little. Rachel followed his lead, clumsily inhaling.
“That’s a bit better.”
Silas murmured with satisfaction, slowly yet persistently exploring her mouth. His movements gradually grew more intense, and Rachel was consumed by a heat that felt like her body was melting.
“Now you know, don’t you? How it’s done.”
“…Yes.”
“Then do it again.”
Rachel did her best to kiss him as he had taught her, pushing her tongue into his mouth. It was still awkward, but definitely an improvement.
“Ngh!”
Just as she thought she could finally keep up, his large hand slipped inside her shower robe and grabbed her br*ast. A soft moan escaped Rachel’s lips.
Silas, as if telling her to ignore it and continue, sucked on her tongue while gently scratching the hard tip of her n*pple with his fingertips.
The soft sound of Rachel’s breathing and the w*t sound of their tongues mixing filled the room.
She couldn’t think of anything but following Silas’s lead with her tongue and feeling his touch on her.
The moment their lips parted, Silas roughly grabbed Rachel’s jaw. His fingers tightened, pressing into her delicate skin. Her gulp echoed in the room.
“You’re not thinking about running away, even when you’re trembling like this?”
“Run away? Who runs away from their husband?”
Her eyes flickered rapidly, but Rachel stubbornly insisted she was his wife. As if enjoying her reaction, Silas slowly lowered his hand.
His fingers lightly pressed on her collarbone, then slid down the front of her robe and into her cleavage. His touch, felt even through the thin fabric, sent a tingling sensation through her skin. She instinctively flinched, but Silas didn’t let her.
“In that case, then.”
Silas whispered playfully, wrapping his arms around her waist. His firm hands gripped her soft waistline. His rough touch burrowed further in, pulling her close. His fingertips slid along her waist and then up the inside of her thigh.
