Chapter 8
Chapter 8. Kidnapping
The spotless, pure white bathroom featured matte black ceramic accents here and there.
Every detail, from start to finish, was top-of-the-line, making the bathroom spacious and sophisticated.
Among these, the homeowner’s most cherished possession was the high-end ceramic bathtub.
Unconscious, Sunyul lay defenseless inside it.
Though his slender body was limp, it had not lost its firmness.
The bathtub, custom-ordered from an Italian artisan, was large enough to comfortably fit Sunyul, who was taller than most by a head.
Contrasting with the white, round bathtub was his pitch-black attire, exuding a decadent charm like the protagonist of a perfume ad heavy with musk fragrance.
The only thing that detracted from his innate elegance, even while lying still, was the polka-dotted blindfold covering his eyes.
The purple silk blindfold, dotted with white polka dots, had lace ruffles along the edges that looked like they belonged on an apron.
Beneath it, his mouth was gagged with a black spherical gag, and his wrists, fastened above his head to the faucet, were bound by crudely designed fur-lined handcuffs that radiated a strong presence.
Sunyul was lying semi-reclined in the bathtub, his legs spread wide in an ‘M’ shape. Over his sleek black jeans, pitch-black leather straps were coiled like snakes.
The straps wrapped around both his calves and thighs at once, a restraint method that prevented him from moving his legs freely unless someone untied them.
Despite the cheap, adult-magazine-level appearance, his ability—or talent—was that he still looked pure and noble.
Near Sunyul’s feet, where he remained unconscious, there was one more person.
A small figure crouched with their back to Sunyul, rocking up and down repeatedly.
“Nhhnk……. Ahnnk…….”
Sniffling and swallowing sorrowful sobs, the tragic protagonist was Jiwoo, who had just kidnapped her boyfriend.
After returning home, the first thing she did was contact the company that had been taking photos of Sunyul and received the original, unedited photos.
Facing the truth she hadn’t noticed despite having them right in front of her, she was shocked.
“It’s all women!”
In the original photos, Sunyul was always surrounded by women.
Here a woman, there a woman, women, women, women!
Even though he was blatantly cheating, she had looked at those photos and felt okay about it!
“If there’s something like this, you should have reported it!”
Angry, Jiwoo called the company to complain. The tired-sounding staff who answered tried to explain.
“You said it wasn’t stalking…….”
Was it stalking, then?
At those words, Jiwoo quietly hung up the phone.
She wouldn’t let it go!
Jiwoo was furious. Though she hadn’t let it go before, now she was determined to end him once and for all. She tore down all the photos of Sunyul that had been stuck up in her room.
Returning to the bathroom, Jiwoo inspected Sunyul’s belongings.
In front of her, the items taken from Sunyul’s body were laid out one by one as evidence of the case.
In a moderately sized backpack were a liberal arts book, a single pen, a cellphone, a wallet, a box of condoms with fruit illustrations, and a diary stained with frequent use.
Among the sea of black items, the pink leather-covered diary stood out starkly.
She picked it up almost hypnotically and flipped it open roughly. Instantly, system messages poured out from within like a waterfall.
Intuitively sensing its importance, she carefully read from the first page.
“Nhn, hic, sh*t, f*cck……”
With each turned page, a string of painful cries escaped.
“You damn, hic, bastard……”
Each time her lips parted, resentment toward Sunyul spilled out deeply.
It turned out the diary Jiwoo held was a record of Sunyul’s girlfriends.
Though the texture felt like paper to her touch, the pages displayed holograms similar to system messages, showing information like a game UI.
[No. 1 Monday Girlfriend Yeon Jiwoo]
The very first page listed none other than Jiwoo herself.
♥Today marks the 190th day♥
♥Today is a date with the ‘Monday Girlfriend Yeon Jiwoo.’♥
First meeting: February 28, 202X
Became official: February 28, 202X
Jiwoo made a hollow expression as she read the information beneath her name.
The diary clearly indicated how many days they had been together and with whom he was supposed to be on a date today.
In other words, the reason Sunyul hadn’t celebrated their anniversary until now wasn’t forgetfulness. It was deliberate neglect.
That bastard.
Murmuring a tearful curse, Jiwoo tapped the [View Details] button.
The folded sections stretched out long, organizing everything that had happened between her and Sunyul in chronological order along with photos.
[Achievement] First girlfriend
[Achievement] Day 1 from today
[Achievement] First date
The album was mostly empty here and there because the days they didn’t meet outnumbered the days they did.
It pained her heart to see with her own eyes how much time Sunyul had neglected her, but the only consolation was that Jiwoo was listed as the very first girlfriend among so many.
That was both a relief and something that made Jiwoo feel even more miserable.
“I was the first…! I was, hn, the very first…!”
In other words, Sunyul had been playing around with so many women while leaving her behind.
He had been cheating while she loved him faithfully and looked only at him.
“Hic, nhk, I’ll never forgive you. Never. Never…”
Panting with frustration, Jiwoo slammed the diary hard onto the floor in a fit of rage.
There were as many as 100 names numbered like this.
The more pages she flipped, the more her heart felt tortured. Still, Jiwoo opened her eyes wide and faced the reality of her boyfriend.
The philanderer, Baek Sunyul, was dating as many as seven girlfriends.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Without missing a single day, he meticulously enjoyed dates with each one.
