“The Crown Princess might need me, right?”

The person standing in front of the door furtively looked at the person next to him. It was a difficult decision to make alone, so it seemed like he wanted to get the other person’s consent.

However, since it was the Crown Prince’s request anyway, when the other colleague nodded, she went inside.

Idina’s screams subsided for a moment. Killian guessed that it was because the person who went inside was saying something to her.

However, Idina’s struggling continued again, and listening to the sound, Killian wondered if she had rejected him.

However, that thought was short-lived, and soon the person who came out again made way for Killian.

“The Crown Princess said that it would be helpful if you came in as well…….”

“Thank you.”

Killian nodded and quickly went inside.

The delivery room was decorated a little darker than the other rooms. As soon as he walked in, he saw Idina.

“Idina!”

Idina had a cloth in her mouth to keep her teeth from biting her tongue while screaming, and her body was covered with a white fabric. The midwives were hanging around her body.

The delivery room was much busier than it felt outside.

“Your Highness, you need to push a little harder. Just a little more.”

“Ah, ah…….”

Idina looked very tired, as if she didn’t have the strength to scream anymore. Killian hurried to her side and held her hand tightly.

“Idina.”

Idina was so out of it that she didn’t even realize Killian had come in. She gasped for breath and only looked back at him after he grabbed her hand.

“Killian…….”

Killian looked down at her body covered in a sheet. The midwives were constantly checking under the sheet to see if the b*by’s head was visible or not.

Since there was no sign of anything being visible yet, it was true that Idina had to try harder.

Killian held her hand tightly and whispered.

“I’ll be by your side the whole time, so try a little harder, Idina.”

“Why did you come in…….”

“If it’s really hard, just rip my hair out.”

It was a joke, but Killian was serious. It seemed like it wouldn’t matter if Idina, who was struggling, rips his hair out.

Watching her in pain and struggling to breathe made him feel like he was going crazy.

He wondered how she could hold twins in such a small body.

As Killian tightened his grip, Idina’s grip also grew stronger. Soon, she let out another ragged breath, and screamed again with her already tired throat.

Ahk, ah, aahhh!

It was a scream of real pain. The more it hurt, the tighter Idina held Killian’s hand. Her nails dug into Killian’s hand. 

How many times did she scream and how many times did she scratch Killian? The midwife, who was carefully looking at Idina’s gr*in, shouted. 

“Your Highness, I can see the b*by’s head! Just a little more force, yes, good. And breathe, breathe!” 

Idina screamed, but when the midwife told her to breathe, she took a deep breath and exhaled, pushing hard. 

Killian watched her with pity and held Idina’s hand tighter. It was all he could do, but he was truly thankful that he could still be there to protect her. 

And then, the sound of the b*by’s cries finally filled the delivery room. Some people breathed in relief, but others couldn’t let their guard down and kept looking between Idina’s legs. 

Killian couldn’t rest easy yet, and Idina’s screams continued for a while.

The b*bies were twins.

“Congratulations, Your Highness.”

He had no idea how many hours had passed since then. The midwife seemed to be completely exhausted, as if it was her first time experiencing something like this.

The onlookers were the same, let alone Idina. Killian looked down at his hand, which Idina had dropped while giving birth. Looking back at her, she was exhausted from giving birth.

Idina looked very surprised that she had given birth to her own babies.

“Killian…….”

Killian laughed quietly at her softly calling. He then checked the babies the midwives were holding one by one. The midwives gathered around described their babies one by one and congratulated him.

“This little one is a girl……. Her eyes look exactly like the Crown Princess. Congratulations.”

“Yes.”
