Tasha and the maids hurriedly left.

Karl, holding Aura’s wrist, strode over to the balcony. Aura was helplessly dragged by him.

    Bang!

He slammed the balcony glass door shut.

Karl pushed Aura all the way to the railing. Aura’s waist was pressed against the railing as if it were bending. The railing was hard and cold. Like the reality she was in.

    “…….”

    “…….”

Aura glared at Karl. Karl glared at Aura as well. The two’s breaths intertwined in the air, turning white.

    “Let it go.”

Karl gestured with his chin towards the spoon she was holding. When Aura didn’t let go, Karl tightened his grip on her wrist. The pressure made Aura’s grip loosen.

    “Huh…….”

    Jjanggang-

The spoon hit the railing and fell off the balcony.

    Karl said with a growl.

“Spoon?” Are you trying to kill someone with that? No. You can never do it, Aura.

    “Let me go.”

“Can you really gouge out someone’s eyes?” A princess like you, up there in the sky? “Like you, the princess at the top of that sky?”

The top of the sky. Aura laughed self-deprecatingly at those words.

“No, Karl.” You saw it wrong.

    “…….”

    “I’ve hit rock bottom.”

“Don’t speak carelessly!” “Don’t speak carelessly!”

Karl shouted angrily. The younger brother didn’t back down either.

“Do you still see me as a naive child who came to this house without knowing anything?!” Do you still not realize how much I’ve changed and fallen apart?! “Do you still not realize how much I’ve changed and fallen apart?!”

    “It means it’s broken.”

    “…….”

“If you do it one more time, I won’t forgive you.”

Aura kept her mouth shut. It wasn’t because he was scared of him.

Him getting angry. It didn’t seem like it was just the commotion caused by the aura. So, the reason he’s this angry. It’s as if…

“No.” No way that could be true.

Aura looked at the sky. Snowflakes were falling one by one from the dim sky.

Snow settled on her white forehead. It was cold. My cold, rational mind seemed to say this. Maybe the opportunity for revenge has come for him.

    “Karl.”

Karl paused at the noticeably subdued tone.

“I feel like my back is going to break.” Help me up.

Karl frowned. What scheme is he up to now? He seemed to be asking that. But soon, he grabbed her waist and helped her up.

    “Karl.”

    She definitely decided to ask.

“You need True Blood, right?” “Do you need true blood?”

    “I need you.”

Karl said that without blinking an eye. Aura swallowed hard.

“Just once, just once more, let’s give it a try.”

“Karl.” It’s not necessary for there to be a True Blood royal for the throne to be stable. You can find a wife with better conditions than me anytime. So dethrone me.

    “I can’t let that happen.”

    “Then get a divorce.”

    “That too, can’t be.”

    “Then kill me.”

“Be careful of what you say.”

Karl shot Aura a glare. With the expression that said he wouldn’t forgive.

    “Another reaction like that.”

Knowing it was absurd, Aura decided to grasp that possibility.

    “Maybe… Karl might…”

Aura reached out and grabbed his collar. She pulled him closer and locked eyes with him.

She was a woman who grew up receiving more love than anyone else in this world. She knew very well what kind of eyes the people who loved her had. No matter how much they hide it with anger and mockery.

“Karl, you don’t still like me, do you?”

A white breath flowed out of his mouth. The snowflakes falling between them grew thicker. He slowly blinked and then opened his mouth.

“If that’s the case?” “Then what?”

    “!”

    “Then what will change?”

Aura felt like her heart dropped with a thud. Even though I had somewhat expected it, it felt like I had heard words that could never be taken back.

Yeah. There’s nothing that can be undone.

If he liked her, she was planning to return the feelings. In her own way, filled with hatred.

Aura kissed Karl as it was. The cold lips of both pressed tightly against each other. Before anyone’s mouth could open, Karl pulled her away.

    “You-!”

She didn’t care and lunged at him again. Karl quickly grabbed both of her hands and pushed her against the balcony window. Aura’s back hit the window.

    “Sigh…….”

Aura’s lips, exhaling, were red. Karl asked in a tone that seemed to be pressing something.

“What are you trying to do right now?” “What’s the point of this right now?”

“You said you like me.” I’m giving you a chance, Karl.

She stretched her lips into a long smile. His speechless and stiff expression was truly delightful to see.

Aura bit her lip slightly. I could feel it. If I say this, something truly irreversible will happen.

Even knowing that, Aura didn’t stop.

“Don’t you know what it means? You’re more naive than your look.”

    Her expectations were not misplaced.

Karl’s gaze changed in an instant. He suddenly pulled Aura’s neck and kissed her.

His lips had already become hot. The moment his aura stiffened, he slightly bit his lower lip. Seizing the moment of hesitation, his tongue slipped in.

    “!”

Aura held her breath at the sensation of the tongue being tightly coiled. Sucking on the lips, biting the tongue, and the rough movements wandering all over the mouth made my mind go blank.

Feeling his desire vividly, Aura realized. Those who love cannot defeat those who hate.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been so greedy and desperate. He couldn’t possibly want her like this without understanding or believing in her.

Opportunity. Aura said she would give Karl a chance. But in reality, it was Aura herself who seized the opportunity.

She opened the balcony door. And she wrapped her arms around his neck and took a step back. Karl’s eyes narrowed.

He pushed her deeper and harder as he entered the room. She was pushed back mindlessly by that force.

It was the moment something touched her calf. Karl knocked her back like a predator hunting its prey. The bed rippled like waves.

    “Hah… hah…”

She gasped for breath in the field. Karl looked down at her and began to unbutton his shirt one by one. The impressive muscles gradually revealed themselves. The large and small scars covering his entire body and the bandage wrapped around his side.

    “You.”

    “……Haaa…….”

“Are you really sure you won’t regret it?”

It was as if she was opening a path for her to escape. Aura found that relaxed demeanor amusing. With eyes that seemed ready to ignite, he was scrutinizing her.

Aura wrapped around Karl’s neck and yanked him down.

    “I won’t.”

That answer was also a promise she made to herself.

“Karl, can you really stop now?”

Karl chuckled. And instead of answering, he pressed his lips against her neck.

    “……!”

It felt like electricity was spreading from where my tongue touched my teeth. My body trembled uncontrollably with tension. Karl wrapped his hands around her trembling shoulders.

“I have no idea what you’re thinking, but…”

    “…….”

“I’ll make sure you won’t regret it, Aura.”

Karl locked eyes and whispered. Aura nodded reflexively.

The hand that was stroking her neck moved to her back. Tap, tap. The dress button came undone. The strange expression on Karl’s face, soaked in that tingling sensation and desire. The overwhelming presence of a man that I felt for the first time in my life. Before I could even get used to it, the dress suddenly slipped down.

Overwhelmed by unimaginable shame, Aura tightly shut her eyes. The hand gripping my bare chest felt so hot it seemed like it would burn. And when his thumb brushed the tip of my chest.

    “Wait a minute…!”

Startled by the unfamiliar sensation, Aura grabbed his hand. Then Karl kissed her as if to soothe her. From the slowly spreading pleasure, I heard Karl’s whisper. It’s okay. It’s okay.

Contrary to his words, his touch was relentless. For some reason, her lower abdomen felt itchy, and she grabbed the sheets and twisted her legs. When she spread her twisted legs and Karl settled into position, she had to steel herself.

He straightened his back while brushing aside his disheveled hair. The hand that started at the thigh slowly moved up along the calf. And the moment it reached the bandage on his ankle, he frowned.

    “Sigh… really…”

    Karl kissed the bandage.

Aura felt like she couldn’t stand it. She pulled her foot away from his hand and lightly tapped his shoulder.

    “Don’t do anything unnecessary.”

“I’m not sleeping with you because I want to share something.”

A cool smile spread across Karl’s face. He grabbed Aura’s knees. Soon, a strange pain pierced through Aura’s entire body.

    “Ah!”

Aura let out a moan mixed with a scream.

Karl dug under Aura and made a path. Again and again, again and again. Without stopping.

Moans and breaths surged up uncontrollably, bursting out on their own. It felt like I had forgotten how to breathe properly.

    “It’s okay.” Slowly, breathe.

He said that, but it was no use. Aura just shook her head and endured that time. He wouldn’t tell him to stop. I was going to endure it.

The sensation below was fading away. No, I was tormented by too many sensations. As time passed and he came and went, the discomfort became familiar and the pain turned into pleasure. The moment that pleasure was felt, tears welled up in the corners of his eyes.

    “Aura.”

Karl bent down and kissed her near the eyes. Next came the lips again. The tangled breaths were unbelievably sweet. He wrapped her hand, which was gripping the sheets, around his neck. And he pushed her hard.

    “Ah!”

Aura unconsciously hugged Karl. In that moment, she did not see the smile that Karl had formed.

He kept pushing her without giving her a moment to breathe.

    “Ah…!” Please, ugh! Please, ugh!

She didn’t even know what she was wishing for. Even though she wanted to stop right away, she was instinctively drawn to this pleasure.

Aura made an effort to pull herself together. I didn’t want to be led. I didn’t want to enjoy it.

So, this should have just been the process of letting him go.

She sharpened her nails. As if to solidify that determination, she scratched his back with all her might.
