I want to begin with an apology, but before that, I hope you’ll take a moment to put yourself in my shoes.

Nom nom, crunch crunch, smack smack, munch munch.

All sorts of disgusting sounds echoed through the garden, drawing everyone’s attention to me. Servants, maids, and butlers alike—everyone stared at me with eyes full of bewilderment.

Amidst all this, I calmly put the cream stuck to my fingers into my mouth. Eventually, after licking the plate clean like a dog bowl, I patted my full belly.

“Ah, delicious. Really, really delicious.”

“…I’m glad it was tasty.”

The man sitting across from me spoke calmly in response to my words. While everyone else was giving me bewildered looks, only he maintained a composed expression.

As expected of the mastermind from the novel. He exudes a calm, no, a composure, that nothing can disturb.

But it wasn’t over yet.

Whether the man before me was the most handsome or the most attractive of all the people I’d ever seen in my life, I had to hear words of rejection from him. That was the only way I could survive.

Pride? That’s for fools and dogs. Let them have it.

I giggled foolishly, trying to look as stupid as possible, while licking the cream from the corner of my mouth.

And at that moment, when the man’s brow furrowed, I smiled triumphantly.

After doing all sorts of disgusting things and even laughing stupidly, surely he wouldn’t say he wanted to marry me, right? I looked at the man with expectant eyes.

Reject me! Hurry up and refuse me! Please kick me out of your life!
