Chapter 10
Jisoo shook her head as her body stretched to its limits.
Breathing became hard. She pressed her forehead against the wall, scratching the surface with her fingers. That was all she could manage.
The man growled; his voice thick with desire.
“Ah, aaah!”
“Hm? Try harder.”
So, I can remember you.
And if not—
“That’s all you ever were to me.”
A memory so weak, I could forget it in a moment.
When Lee Heon saw the back of her neck turn red, he bit down on it. She flinched again as her inner walls tightened like they might tear him apart.
The place where they were joined was unbearably hot, like it might melt. That only made the sensation stronger.
The more pleasure he felt with the woman; the more discomfort built up inside him.
He muttered something softly and pressed his bare chest to her back. Then, he pushed in again with full force.
There was no mercy in the way he changed angles and thrust deep. Jisoo, like a fish caught on a spear, could only shake her head in helpless protest.
It felt like he filled her all the way to her throat. As if their ends were touching.
He wrapped one arm tightly around her waist, which was small enough to hold with ease. She whimpered and squirmed, unable to escape.
He grabbed her small chin, turning her face toward him roughly.
Her face was red and streaked with tears she didn’t even know the reason for. The sight annoyed him, and he moved his hips even harder.
Heon bit her red lips, found her small, bright tongue, and increased his pace.
His violent movements were nothing short of brutal. Overwhelmed by the unbearable pleasure, Jisoo squeezed her eyes shut, and another tear slid down her cheek.
His hand moved up her back, grabbing her breast hard enough to hurt. The smell of soap filling his lungs while holding her kept getting on his nerves.
He felt dizzy, like he was drugged. It had to be because of the strong scent coming from her.
Do Jisoo had a unique smell. It wasn’t the cheap room fragrance filling the motel or the air freshener sprayed to hide the dampness.
Though he wasn’t dumb, he couldn’t find the right word to describe her scent. It was probably nothing more than a common bath product.
So why did it smell so seductively only on her?
In the quiet and dark room, the woman lying on the white sheets looked unreal.
Her soft nose bridge flowed smoothly under her round, white forehead. Her pale eyelids, almost showing veins, looked like they held a story. Her lips, tightly closed, were swollen red from earlier.
Yeah. He had bitten and sucked on those lips over and over again. Hoping it would somehow calm this twisted feeling inside.
Sitting on a stool in the corner of the room, Heon sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
The deeper into the night it got, the clearer his mind became. But instead of feeling satisfied, his desire only grew.
Even in the dark, he could clearly see her face twisted in pleasure from what he gave her.
Tears still clung to her closed lashes.
‘Ah… Mister…’
Please, please stop… She begged and cried under him, lost in the intense pleasure.
‘Why? You said you wanted this.’
‘I… I can’t. It’s too much…’
‘I’m not done yet.’
Forced into a climax, she trembled and finally collapsed. Even with tears and a messy face, she looked damn beautiful.
He pushed her even harder, out of his own pride and stubbornness.
What do you mean “stop”? Isn’t this what you wanted?
You shook me with just a few words. Messed with my heart with a few cheap lines. And now you want to back out?
‘Just like you did to me I wondered if you tried that on Kang Yoon-gyeom too.’
The sarcastic words were really aimed at himself. There was a hidden truth he hadn’t even noticed.
That Cha Lee Heon had fallen for Do Jisoo’s game.
From the moment he barged into the office where she sat alone.
From when he caught her as she almost fell. From when they were left alone together in that office.
Maybe even from when she looked at him with the saddest face and asked if he remembered her.
If she ever found out he’d been barely hiding the desire boiling inside him all this time. That he had imagined dirty, wild things with her over and over.
Would she be happy? Or shocked?
He could still see her face when she awkwardly turned down his offer to go out together. Whether it was honest or not, he didn’t know.
She could sit by his side, calm and focused only on work, with her slim back straight and shoulders poised.
That image brought back a familiar ache and an eerie feeling of déjà vu.
Had he watched her like this before? A piece of memory that now meant nothing.
The scene felt like it came from a frame something hidden deep in his past.
As if they’d been through something like this before. As if everything she said was true.
No. That couldn’t be. She probably had the same boring reason as anyone else for coming to him.
Even after all this, the lost year remained foggy. Was that a relief? Or his pride?
Now, he wasn’t even sure if this situation was what she wanted or what he did.
He forced down his tangled emotions.
Getting out of bed, he opened the fridge. He drank cold water, enough to freeze his insides, but the thirst remained.
In the dark, he saw her pale ankle peeking out from the blanket. He walked over and grabbed it in one hand.
He didn’t grab it that hard, but even in her sleep, her brows knit in discomfort. That bothered him.
The swelling had gone down a little, but he couldn’t stop thinking about her. He had taken her standing up multiple times without hearing a single word of pain.
Yes. “Endured” was the right word. Do Jisoo had endured the entire time.
If she had been faking, that wouldn’t make sense. The sex wasn’t satisfying. From beginning to end, it left nothing but unease.
Everything was a mess. What the hell is this?
He looked and saw a white hand neatly placed on the sheet. A scratch didn’t match the delicate look.
The layers of bandages on her hand were soaked with blood. Underneath, he saw a scab forming.
Unbelievable.
Was this another trick to mess with his nerves? A quiet scoff slipped from his lips. He soon reached for the first-aid kit in the corner of the room. There was still a long time before sunrise.
“So, you’re really not coming?”
“How many times do I have to say it? I can’t.”
Hanju, crouched on the sofa, angrily threw her gel nail polish aside. The liquid splattered everywhere. But the voice on the other end of the call stayed cheerful.
“Well, yeah. I wouldn’t let a car get that messed up either if I paid that much for it.”
“You crazy shut up.”
Everyone Hanju knew had at least a little dirt that could land them in the news. But she had nothing to say. Shouldn’t have drunk so much. It was too late to regret now.
She had blacked out and caused a big accident one that luckily hurt no one.
“I’m hanging up. I have to pack.”
“You don’t have anyone to do that for you? You’re packing yourself?”
Even her sarcastic tone didn’t bother the caller.
“Last time I asked the maid, she packed the weirdest stuff.”
“Oh, where are you going again?”
“Cebu. Have you been studying during your ‘house arrest’?”
The snide reply made her even more annoyed.
Some people get to travel, while she is stuck in her house like a prisoner.
“Lucky bitch” she muttered, and laughter came through the speaker.
“Why don’t you take your brother and go on a family trip or something?”
“Wanna die?”
Even after her harsh curse, all she got was more laughter. Her brother Seokju had told her to stay quiet until after the election. Hanju ground her teeth and rubbed her temples.
“Just apologize now. Promise to behave.”
“Screw that. If I could, I’d already be out having fun.”
“That family is really something. Poor you. Their ‘line-up’ is insane. What’s-his-name—Lee Hyun-seok? He’s in a drama. Even he”
Hanju ended the call without replying. Any more, and she’d just stew in jealousy.
“Not even a real friend. Damn”
Slumped over the sofa armrest, she opened her social media the only noisy place that filled her empty heart.
Notifications flooded in. A selfie she’d posted earlier with her cleavage showing had thousands of likes and comments.
This kind of attention was what she wanted. But it didn’t ease her restlessness.
[Body’s insane.]
[What brand is the contour?]
[Can you share your lipstick info?]
“Ugh…”
Empty compliments. All obviously fishing for something. Flashy on the outside, but meaningless.
Some might call it interest. Others, useless flirting.
Compared to her, people she saw online were nothing special, yet they lived freely. It made her furious to be stuck at home.
“Ugh! So damn suffocating!”
She threw her phone among a pile of luxury goods, knocking them over.
She saw the housekeeper quietly backing away. Security guards stood in place, silently watching.
They looked like cowards, afraid of the spoiled youngest daughter throwing a tantrum.
All of them looked pathetic to her now. This is seriously fucked.
“Hey.”
Hanju grabbed a gel nail lamp and threw it. It landed with a dull thud, but no one flinched or showed pain.
Creeps.
“Hey, are you ignoring me?”
She threw more stuff from the table at them. Only then did someone look at her expressionless.
