The fiancé chosen by my father was nothing but garbage. He was the kind of man I couldn’t even bear to be around.

I made up my mind to break off the engagement for the sake of my own happiness.

But not a single person in my family cared about whether I was happy or not.

Ayla just wanted to be happy one day.

If achieving that meant giving up her body, then it was a price she was willing to pay.

She had already decided to abandon her family. If it meant she could end the engagement, then losing her purity didn’t matter at all.

It truly wasn’t something that bothered her.

The man asked her a question.

“An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Is that what this is supposed to be?”

She was already flustered, but what he said next left her completely stunned.

“Why not just cut off his thing while you’re at it?”

“Cut off what?” she asked, confused.

“Chop it off. Clean and simple.”

He was such a strange man that she couldn’t help but gape at him in disbelief.

“Please deliver a message to His Highness the First Prince,” she said. “Ask if he would consider marrying me.”

The man narrowed his eyes and smiled faintly.

“I refuse.”

She had truly believed she would never see him again.

His sudden return was surprising, but more than anything, Ayla found herself completely speechless.
